Healthcare professionals invited to showcase research and innovation at national obesity conferences

The Obesity & Weight Management Alliance has announced a nationwide call for poster submissions ahead of its 2026 conference series, which promises to be the most extensive yet.

For the first time, the event will span three major UK cities, offering healthcare professionals across the country greater access to cutting-edge education on obesity care.

The conferences will take place in London (12 March), Manchester (18 March) and Birmingham (27 March), bringing together leading experts and practitioners to share the latest research, treatment strategies and practical tools for tackling obesity.

Organisers are encouraging delegates to submit posters that showcase best practice, innovative methods or research breakthroughs in obesity management. Accepted posters will be displayed throughout the events, with a panel of experts assessing submissions for their impact and originality. The winning poster will receive a special award and additional exposure through the Alliance’s newsletter and website.

Emily Mayhew, Event Manager said: “The poster exhibition offers healthcare professionals an exceptional opportunity to share expertise, research and innovation in obesity care. We look forward to the outstanding work that will be presented.”

Attendance at the conferences is free of charge, but places must be booked in advance. Each event will feature CPD-accredited sessions led by some of the foremost specialists in obesity management.
